1968 Olds 442 Conversion Kit Reference

Here are some reference photos for the 1968 Olds 442 conversion kit assembly. First, acquire an AMT or MPC 1969 Olds 442 1/25th scale model kit. You must fill the rear tail light openings on the 69 olds. Use some sheet plastic cut to fill the opening, be sure to use a good liquid cement to secure the filler piece. You can finish filling any gaps with super glue and baking soda. If using the baking soda method wait for it to harden for a few minutes and then sand to shape.  Waiting too long will cause it to be too hard to sand easily.  Once you get everything roughed in, sand and prime as usual for a smooth finish.
